The “Operational Excellence Senior Specialist”, reporting to the Operational Excellence Manager in Operations group, will be responsible for analysis, execution and aftercare of improvement projects within the all operational units. He/she will work closely with business line managers at headquarters, regions and sorting centers to define improvement opportunities and objectives that align with corporate strategy.


Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably Industrial/Management Engineering departments)
  • 4+ years professional experience in process improvement / design, lean practices and operational excellence projects, ideally within cargo / logistics sector or consultancy services, especially running with multiple branches/locations
  • Deep expertise about process improvement methods and strategies; experience in planning, developing and executing complex processes; strong analytical and quantitative skills (passion for process flows, metrics and figures)
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to navigate complex organizational structures and manage senior relationships; ability to influence
  • Experienced in data analysis, conducting feasibility study, optimization & simulation development
  • Strong analytical and exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal); excellent at communicating with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, and ability to develop executive level messaging, report and presentations with change and project management expertise
  • Fluent in verbal and written English
  • Management level presentation skills (both preparing and presenting)


Main Responsibilities:

  • Work cross-departmentally to identify and facilitate operational improvement projects
  • Execute multi-year continuous improvement plans with other departments to track progress
  • Execute continuous improvement pipeline with the regional management teams, including the selection, tracking, and running of operations
  • Provide continuous feedback and follow up in regard to operational guidelines, product, and system developments
  • Work with all levels of the organization to influence change
  • Execute complex, high-priority improvement projects
  • Maintain a KPI based reporting structure; analyze data from operational systems
  • Ensure business operational compliance with policies, health and safety standards, food safety standards, and fair employment practices
  • Support and execute change management process in Aras Kargo within the 3-year change program
  • Monitor, identify, evaluate and implement new business models and new trends
  • Undertake the interface function between business units and IT to transform the business needs and requirements into automation and digitalization
