GENEL NİTELİKLER
ROLE : Responsible for the efficient and safe utilisation of depot facilities,
Responsibilities:
- Achieve optimum container throughput as efficiently as possible
- Lead and motivate the Operations Team to ensure levels of service meet or exceed customers’ expectations
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and liaise with relevant Authorities in this respect as required
- Liaise with the senior management of shipping lines and their agents to understand their requirements and work closely with them to serve their needs.
- Continually review, benchmark, plan and implement operational strategies to ensure that the sites develop and grow profitably
- Responsible for achieving all budget requirements and recommending investments
- Minimizing cost for the procurement.
- Maximize operational quality to keep customer satisfaction on the highest level.
- Ensure Safety Security & Health regulations are applied properly
- Ensuring the contracts and conditions with the vendors are in line with the company regulations and benefit.
- Responsible of the %100 system usage by the team and providing relevant trainings.
- Follow up the performance of the sites and develop further.
- Regular reporting to Management
- Able to prepare, read and apply P&L and Business Plan
- Good Communication and strong team management skills
- Coordination of the personnel shifts for business continuity
- Ensure the system is % 100 up to date
- Follow customer KPI criteria to make the business aligned
- Ensure equipment and tools are safely and carefully being used and kept.
Requirements ;
- University graduate, preferably studied logistics or supply chain
- Min 5 years of container operations management and warehouse experience
- Proactive , initiative and a strong collaborative approach to doing business
- Excellent communication skills in English and able to manage effectively in a multicultural environment
- Strong analytical skills
- Working carefully, meticulous and solution focused
- Able to travel frequently
