QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
General Requirements
- Great enthusiasm for working on powertrain and vehicle engineering fields
- BSc., Master or Ph.D. degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Mechatronics or Aerospace Engineering from a reputable university
- Knowledge of base engine, powertrain, hybridization, and electric vehicles
- Fluency in English (German is a plus)
- Being a good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently, output-oriented and ready to take self-initiative with solution-oriented nature
- System knowledge for internal combustion engines
- 3D modelling proficiency in CAD programs such as CATIA, CREO, NX
- Experience in at least one of the following PLM/ PDM suites: Windchill, Enovia, Teamcenter
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes of sector such as casting, forging, machining etc.
- Experience in MS-Office applications
Your Tasks
- Mechanical design and integration of complex engine & engine accessory components through concept, layout and detail phases
- To work on variety of powertrain projects in industrial market for local and global customers
- Working on 3D modelling, manufacturing drawings, GD&T, tolerance stack up, FMEA, bill of material, etc.
- Technical delivery to internal & external client within time, cost, and quality targets
- Close cooperation with internal development departments, customers, and suppliers
- Creation of technical reports and documentation as required for engineering project
- To follow up latest technology trends
