QUALIFICATIONS

University degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering

· New graduate or max. 2 years of experience

General knowledge of various types of rotating equipment, piping systems, and mechanical equipment (pumps, relief devices, tanks, piping, etc.).

Ability to understand Process Flow Diagrams and P&IDs is required

Basic Mechanical &Electrical knowledge

· Fluency in both written and spoken in English

· High level of communication and interpersonal skills

· No military obligation for the male candidates

· Problem solving skills

· Having good time management skills.


JOB DESCRIPTION

The Process Engineer is included in the Gebze Plant Team, located in Turkey to provide optimization, innovation and support to the production of ACE bleach in full synergy with the local Operation Team. In this role you will:

  • Design, implement and maintain systems to collect and analyse data for critical product and process parameters
  • Monitors all related KPIs and provides necessary routine reports to higher management
  • During project execution, play a major role in commissioning and training, and than owning the technology for the site

  • Eliminate or reduce (prioritized) losses through making process or work system changes

  • Work with line management to prioritize improvement opportunities

  • Use Reliability Engineering tools to drive defect handling and loss elimination

  • Set up, plan, execute and analyze experiments, and reports results, taking into account possible risks to production
  • Standardize equipment and work processes. Own the change management system for a designated process. Update process control strategies and operating procedures as changes occur
  • Work with the Quality Department to define problem areas and implement product improvements based on customer concerns
  • Reviews daily operation of batch production areas and performs process troubleshooting to maintain capacity operation as required
  • Participating in problem solving teams, execute process improvement projects which result in increased productivity, reduced scrap rate or a reduction in operational risk by using proper tools (Lean, Six Sigma, Redx etc.)
