QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Preferably Electronic),
- 2 years of experince in procurement processes (Preferably in Electronic component purchase) in a multinational company experience would be an asset,
- A recognized qualification in procurement (CIPS, MCIPS) would be an asset,
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement methodologies and concepts is a must,
- Specific knowledge of contract management and negotiation would be an asset,
- Advanced knowledge in MS Office Applications including Macros (Especially intense MS Excel use is needed),
- Fluency in both written and spoken English,
- A team player who has continuous desire to go beyond to meet goals and objectives,
- Ability to work effectively and under pressure to meet deadlines in an international environment,
- Willingness to challenge current practice; seek alternative options and challenge convention with a positive attitude,
- A strong customer-focused approach is essential.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Leading the purchasing processes, by providing the best conditions in terms of price, quality, delivery, technology and sustainability of
- Active and passive electronic components from global market
- Customized electro-mechanical components from approved suppliers
- Smart Home related commercial products from OEM suppliers
- Developing procurement strategies for the related categories,
- Actively managing the inventory levels of related categories (incl. slow moving / dead stock management practices),
- Improving on time delivery performance rates of related suppliers,
- Bringing new/more competent suppliers and/or consolidating suppliers in the purchasing portfolio,
- Negotiate and finalize the procurement contracts with all suppliers,
- Continuously searching new ways to increase supplier payment terms,
- Developing alternative components (if necessary) for cost reduction and improving sustainability of the purchasing process,
- Taking the critical actions in case of any kind of supply problems,
- Reporting cash flow & inventory forecasts for related categories.
