In our manufacturing facility in Kocaeli, Gebze we manufacture highly efficient solar PV modules based on crystalline silicon technology for on-grid & off-grid solar power plants, commercial rooftop, and land-based solar power projects. With 23.500m2 indoor space and our state-of-the-art automated production lines to ensure the highest quality standards in producing both standard and dual glass modules using the latest PERC, Half Cut Cell, and Bi-Facial solar module technologies up to 12 Busbars totaling to an 1100MW yearly capacity.
Smart Energy currently owns and operates solar IPP sites in Turkey, Romania, Greece, and Bulgaria with 100+ MW capacity, and another 60MW under construction.
With a portfolio of more than 500+ MW in utility-scale & rooftop solar EPC projects, we possess years of expertise in constructing utility-scale and rooftop solar power plants of all sizes.
We are looking for an experienced "Procurement Specialist" to strengthen our procurement team for our Headquarter in Kavacık, İstanbul.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field from reputable universities (Engineering degree is preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of direct material procurement experience in production sector, preferably in Solar Industry
- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
- Good knowledge of International Trade Rules and regulations
- Proficient in MS Office applications, especially in Excel and Micro ERP
- Excellent supplier contract knowledge
- Leadership capability – ability to engage, inspire and manage accountability
- Good negotiation skill with internal cross-functional teams
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- High standards of accuracy, proficiency at working with strict deadlines and under pressure, and ability to prioritize tasks
- Self-disciplined, proactive, dynamic, eager to learn and to take on new challenges
- Team player, result-oriented with strong planning and organization skills
- Flexibility in working hours and no travel restrictions
- For male candidates, military service must be completed
- Resides in the Anatolian/ Europe side of Istanbul
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Ensuring timely purchase direct materials to support production of PV Modules
- Perform supplier evaluation and selection as per Smart Solar Technologies standards and sourcing strategy
- Generating procurement projects according to strategic sourcing initiative process and detailed plans for execution
- Following up on progress and implementation of procurement projects
- Performing purchase price analysis, understand volume & technical specifications, and coordinating them with stakeholders such as planning, R&D, Quality, Production
- Preparing purchase orders, solicit bid proposals, and review requisitions for goods and services
- Write and review product specifications, maintaining a working technical knowledge of the goods or services to be purchased
- Developing more sources for supplies and negotiate the price, ensure the delivery and that the quality meets company requirements
- Developing supplier partnerships to identify and develop ongoing total cost reductions
- Negotiating and managing the contract process
- Optimization of all logistics processes and cost control
- Working proactively to improve, review and implement standard processes and procedures
- Analyze market conditions or trends
- Take a lead role in team-building, company culture
