QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

KOROZO has one of the largest manufacturing facilities in the Middle East and Europe with a production capacity exceeding 123.000 tons, a turnover of almost 300 million euros and employing around 2000 staff including regional offices.
We are looking for a Procurement Specialist for our leading company in flexible packaging with 6 factories, who will be working in our Istanbul Office and reporting to Procurement Manager.
Responsibilities and qualifications are mentioned below.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in engineering
- +3 years of experience
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Experienced in strategic procurement, supplier selection and development
- Basic or intermediate knowledge of material requirements planning
- Good level of SAP, MS Office knowledge (E-tendering knowledge and is a plus)
- Project management skills and team working ability
- No military obligation for male candidates, residency in European side of Turkey.
In this role, you will be
- Leading procurement processes by providing the best conditions in terms of quality, price, delivery terms, technology and sustainability in accordance with guidelines
- Implementing spend category management in area of scope
- Scouting for potential suppliers, new products, technologies, systems and services
- Coordinating all projects with related departments and managing the fulfillment of all tasks within the given timeline
- Performing risk management activities
- Managing contract process
- Contributing to the continous improvement projects
