QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a'' Production Engineer'' for our global client
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Metallurgical Engineering
- 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing industries, especially automotive industry experience is highly preferred
- Good command of written and spoken English
- Experience in continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean / Six Sigma, TPM, WCM etc. and related continuous improvement projects
- Effectively utilize MS Office
- Experience in leading direct report shopfloor teams-operators & technicians
- Analytical thinking, result-oriented, fast in action but with detailed planning
- Ability of effectively work and communication with all departments
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Lead manufacturing processes and activities to ensure that production meets all quality, cost, and efficiency requirements under his/her responsibility
- Monitor daily based planned production outputs and improve the performance continuously
- Ensures all activities are performed in compliance with company sustainability standards and regulations and helps drive the safety environment- to achieve zero incident & HSE targets
- Lead and attend continuous improvement projects and activities to assure related KPI targets (scrap, rework, productivity, OEE etc.) in terms of methodologies such as TPM, lean/6 sigma, Kaizens etc.
- Solves complex production problems through root cause analysis collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Analyze daily based process downtime reasons in the manufacturing to improve process OEEs
- Attend and coordinate autonomous maintenance activities at the shopfloor
- Training and performance development of the production team under his/her provision
- Generating solutions to technical problems that may arise in manufacturing processes
