QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications
· Engineering background, Bioengineering Engineering departments of universities.
· A minimum of 5 years of experience in the food manufacturing industryas similar position,
· Demonstrable experience in continuous improvement with a focus on efficiency improvement, process streamlining and cost reduction
· Thorough knowledge of food safety processes and regulatory compliance
· Proven ability to manage large teams in a laboratory environment
· Genuine passion about the food and laboratory industry, particularly produce
· Having experience and training on current GMP, HACCP, TS:EN ISO 22000:2018/FSSC22000 FSM and BRC processes,
· Excellent people management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience in fermentation,industrial microbiology, or similar process is preferred.
Key Accountabilities
· Conducting and evaluating R&D studies and sharing the results with the necessary departments/factory manager in order to guide production
· Managing and monitoring correspondence and coordination on TÜBİTAK,
· Managing and monitoring production of the necessary microorganism for the production of citric acid, its preservation under appropriate conditions and performing the necessary quality analyzes
· Managing that the destruction processes are carried out by taking the necessary precautions for inappropriate items and providing new samples,
· Responsible forinventory list of the materials, devices and equipments in the laboratory up to date,
· Responsible all shifts at thelaboratory
· Provide direct reports with leadership, direction, and coaching to achieve work objectives and improve performance and skills.
Develop analytical tools and reports in order to manage laboratory performance.
· Ensuring the implementation of in-company training programs to the laboratory department
