SİDAŞ is looking for a Project Assistant to be employed in their new project office located in İzmit/KOCAELİ. The following qualifications are sought for the applicants/candidates of the position:
· University degree from a reputable university;
· Previous experience as a project assistant will be a strong asset;
· Good knowledge of MS Office applications;
· Excellent command of English and Turkish (written and spoken);
· Turkish-English / English-Turkish translation capabilities will be a strong asset;
· Having high level of communication skills in both oral and written;
· Being flexible in working hours and have no travel restrictions;
· No military obligation for male candidates;
· Class B driving license.
JOB DESCRIPTION
· Assisting in organization of meetings, preparation of meeting agendas with input from key Project staff / experts;
· Preparing of meeting minutes;
· Assisting in distribution, delivery and delivery confirmation of meeting minutes and Project technical and financial reports;
· Formatting of reports (outputs, meeting minutes, etc.);
· Organizing and assistance in travel and accommodation arrangements of experts;
· Project filing and archiving;
· Collecting documentation from experts on a regular basis; i.e. setting up a system so the experts know what and when to submit documents to be filed and where to find them again;
· Technical and administrative support in connection with the international and local experts working for the Project (e.g. IT support, accommodation support, organisation of transportation, typing to a certain extent, etc.);
· Administering all general Project correspondence (keeping records of all correspondences up-to-date in writing);
· Tracking, scheduling, quality control and administration of official Project reporting (inception, progress, final and other relevant reports);
· assisting in preparation of and Collection of mission reports and timesheets from Project staff / experts;
· Responsible from implementation of daily routine activities;
· Submission of VAT Exemption List and Agreements to the beneficiary/tax office and tracking the approvals of these documents;
· Submission of “Project Management Tracking Tables” to the Project Coordinator/Manager in line with the deadlines.
· Report to Project Coordinator/Manager/Director and carry out related tasks as instructed/requested by them.
