An opportunity has arisen for a Project Coordinator (Mechanical)to work for office and field within the Project Management Department of our company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor and/or Master degree in Mechanical Engineering,
- 7 to 10 years’ of relevant experience in engineering, project management and execution of cogeneration power plants,
- Minimum of 5 years proven capability in an engineering design/project management company (with mechanical and piping background),
- Proven track record of managing projects with Design, Engineering & Construction Management functions in particular,
- Engineering design, safety in design, inter-disciplinary interfaces, installation experience,
- Review for Piping items,
- Good knowledge of legislative requirements for onshore and offshore materials management,
- Understanding Contracts scopes, HSE regulations and construction standards, equipment application,
- Hands-on experience in dealing with technical issues and providing solutions,
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken,
- Management and coordination skills,
- Proficient in using Excel, MS Project, Primavera, Autocad, Powerpoint,
- Good knowledge of application technology / software,
- Able to travel frequently both domestic and abroad,
- Experience of working with multi-national and multi-cultural project teams is strongly preferred,
Job Description:
- Planning and coordination of engineering designs with design team entailing technical specifications and detailed planning to meet Project and Client requirements,
- Coordinate with engineering on constructability and design issues relating to the mechanical discipline and/or the piping discipline such as mechanical equipment installation, piping installation, maintenance, and testing,
- Responsible for the delivery, technical quality, integrity and adequacy of design engineering work as well as ensuring the design can be constructed in a safe, efficient and economic manner,
- Responsible for providing supervision and technical guidance, methodologies, procedures, standards and quality control to meet the needs of the Project Execution Plan,
- Provide technical assistance, direction, and support during the construction and installation activities,
- Provide practical engineering support to the construction/commissioning phases of projects,
- Identifying risk in installation process as well as perform review of materials compliance,
- Control and comment on supplier information and assist with specification and ordering of materials and equipment, and inspection and testing activities,
- Provide technical direction during the conduct of troubleshooting,
- Follow sound environment health and safety practices ,
- Controlling and coordination of subcontractors works,
- Follow up standards and execute documentation processes,
- Follow and promote company health and safety campaigns, policies and procedures, and ensuring personal safety and that of colleagues at all times,
