QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a “Purchasing Manager” for our global and multinational company, which is one of the leading companies in the automotive industry, located in Bursa with the following qualifications.


  • At least 10 years experience in Purchasing,
  • Excellent command of both written & spoken English,
  • Supplier management (including selection, negotiation, contracting and development)
  • Problem solving and decision making tools and techniques as well as total cost management
  • Knowledge of MS Office programs is a must, (preferable SAP knowledge)
  • Communication techniques (incl. presentation, change management, negotiation and conflict resolution techniques)
  • Project management skills, tools and techniques
  • Good team working skills with the willingness to accomplish tasks in harmony with other team members,
  • Live/Willing to live in or close to Bursa.


JOB DESCRIPTION


The mission of the position is to plan, coordinate and control all purchasing activities in order to meet budget and purchasing targets (e.g. maximize delivery performance, reduce complain rates and costs). Furthermore, the Purchasing Manager initiates and implements action plans for continuous improvement of all purchasing relevant processes.
