We are looking “Purchasing Specialist" for our company that has located at Manisa/Turkey.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsible for direct, indirect and technical purchasing, finding and developing alternative suppliers
Ensuring vendors meet requirements for service, quality and cost performance;
Develop cost reduction strategies.
Keeps and update all information in the ERP system, regarding the raw & pack material transactions.
Purchases items raw / pack materials, spare parts, supplier services.
Give support to investment projects
Follow up the imported technical items;
Give support to the planners that the raw/pack materials are present and available according to the production plan,
Controls and checks the invoices,
Maintains good working relations with suppliers,
Prepares periodic reports about raw / pack materials & technical items.
Payment terms & improvements,
Investment payment plan,
Contract management,
As part of the Procurement team, lead, develop, negotiate in close collaboration with the main stakeholders,
Co-operates well with others; shares knowledge, experience and information; supports others in the pursuit of team goals.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education level Bachelor's degree, engineers are preferred
Minimum 2 years’ experience; technical purchasing is a plus
Quality Systems knowledge (BRC, IFS, FSSC and Halal) is an asset
Good knowledge of English
Excellent organizational & analytical skills
SAP MM knowledge is preferred
Ability to multi-task and meet multiple and/or unexpected deadlines in a demanding environment
Good in planning, organizing and follow up
Dynamic, proactive, positive and practical
Proficiency in MS Office Applications
A good team player with good communication skills
