QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

• University Graduated,

• Minimum 2 years of work experience within direct purchasing.

• Excellent command of verbal and written English,

• Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications and SAP MM Module,

• Being a strong team player, • Result oriented, self-confident, open minded,

• No obstacles for international and local travelling,

• Having a valid driving license and be able to actively drive.

• Strong negotiation skills with the ability to reason and influence at all levels.

•Strong communication and presentation Skills

•Data analysis and numeric skills with the ability to evaluate, analyse and present data.

•Ability to manage complexity and resolve conflicts that arise from balancing multiple priorities.

•Completed military service for male applicants,

•Preferably resident in İstanbul European side

Job Summary

The Purchasing Specialist is the main contact and leads the relationship with his/her suppliers, negotiates to price, manages orders, and monitors all after PO process mainly for excipients and packaging material (primary/secondary) categories, but in case of any need, the Purchasing Specialist also acts as a perfect play maker in other fields of purchasing activities. In addition, the Purchasing Specialist has excellent organizational skills, ability to balance immediate/ long-term priorities, and exceptional multitasking skills with a strong drive to improve existing processes and systems.

Duties/Responsibilities:

. Manages direct material supply in the category of excipients and packaging to ensure company manufacturing targets are achieved.

. Follows the updated material forecast quantities to indicate purchasing strategies in order to provide timely and appropriate material availability.

. Contributes to achieving the budget target by executing proper action plans and reporting results on a regular basis.

. Follows the market trends, develops price escalation models and re-shape them according to market conditions.

. Prepares saving plans and makes them visible by reporting results on a regular basis.

. Manages all purchasing activities between before PO and after PO process.

. Leads business reviews with suppliers including assessment of Suppliers performance.

. Negotiates prices and plans savings to maximize profitability.

. Executes change control process in line with suppliers and as well as related departments.

. Complete special projects like technological transfers and assignments as requested.

. Work with the Purchasing Manager to optimize spend for related purchasing and/or sourcing activities.

. Implement short term and long-term cost reduction strategies established by management and work with high ethical standard, in compliance with the law and the ethical codes of the company.
