QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Purchasing Specialist to join us in order to take an active role in the execution of purchasing systems and processes in our company’s factory in Kırklareli OSB, which has been operating in the field of pet food products since 2001.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in related departments,
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in industrial procurement especially feed (animal food) industry,
- Very good command of English,
- Proficiency in MS Office, preferably ERP knowledge
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with proven negotiation skills,
- Strong planning and organizational skills,
- Efficient time management and result-orientation skills,
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills,
- Completed or exempted military duty for male candidates,
- Living or willing to live in Kırklareli
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Manage/execute the purchasing function with the objectives of improving quality, cost and delivery performance,
- Purchase both direct and indirect materials
- Develop plans and projects to reduce costs and create savings,
- Maintain measurable performance metrics for all levels of purchasing activities,
- Complete vendor or product analysis when sourcing new products or looking for alternatives,
- Manage overall 3rd Party relationships to ensure packaging material suppliers, product supply, increased process efficiencies and best practices,
- Having active role in all purchasing processes of general services, marketing and technical requirements, in line with the procurement procedure,
- Manage all purchasing process in ERP.
- Managing the foreign and domestic raw material procurement process.(tender, supplier selection, price determination, order, contract)
- Taking an active role in new product development processes and cost reduction projects by developing alternative suppliers and processes.
- Market and index tracking.
- Evaluation and reporting of supplier performances and management of supplier relations.
- Supply data to the management and take place to develop direct materials(meat,vitamins, minerals, etc.) procurement strategies of the company.
