You will be the support person for testing and verification activities on a range of assignments in the Power Grids Distribution Transformers in İstanbul, Dudullu. Reporting to the Quality Manager you will be responsible for executing quality control activities according to schedule and in line with relevant quality and safety guidelines.
Your background
- A vocational school degree in Mechanics or Electrics or a similar field.
- Sound knowledge of quality-related engineering techniques, processes, and tools; acquaintance with 6 sigma.
- More than 5 years of experience in transformer manufacturing processes working as inspector; operator.
- Strong commitment to safe work practices and dedication to following all relevant workplace safety guidelines.
- A high level of self-motivation, curiosity, and desire to learn about new technologies.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
Your responsibilities
- Conducting testing and verification activities for assignments of materials, systems, subsystems, or products.
- Preparing project test documentation and providing technical support during the material incoming check.
- Following work plans to ensure high quality and timely implementation within targeted cost. Supporting risk and opportunity assessments and reporting any contract, quality, program, or cost issues for resolution.
- Maintaining a strong presence in the engineering industry, collaborating with a network of engineering professionals, and sharing knowledge and best practices across different projects. Maintaining and enhancing customer satisfaction by providing excellent service at all stages of the project.
