You will be part of the Planning and Order Fulfillment team of Hitachi ABB Power Grids Distribution Transformer Factory in Dudullu in Turkey. Reporting to the Planning and Order Fulfillment Manager, you will provide support to the wider business by ensuring that all purchasing activities align with corporate policies and procedures.
Your background
- University graduate (Bachelor's in Engineering is preferred)
- More than 2 years of experience in purchasing, working as a Purchasing Specialist will be an asset.
- Excellent command of English and Turkish language both written and speaking.
- Experience in ERP systems, preferably in SAP.
- Available for domestic or international travel.
- Very strong communication and analytical skills.
- Military service completed for male candidates.
- A collaborative, solutions-oriented approach and strong communication skills.
Your responsiblities
- Purchasing materials on behalf of the Business according to required technical specifications, price, delivery schedule, and terms.
- Initiating purchase orders according to the purchase requisitions and in alignment with standard procedures.
- Supporting the bid and proposal teams by providing relevant market information.
- Overseeing supplier performance (on-time delivery, quality, lead time) and resolving performance issues.
- Identifying and qualifying new suppliers in cooperation with Supplier Quality and Engineering specialists.
- Aligning supplier orders with customer requirements in terms of content, quality, delivery, sustainability, and price.
- Periodically maintaining purchasing-related master data (lead time, lot size, minimum order quantity, and such) on SAP.
- Performing standard and ad hoc detailed analyses for fulfillment metrics.
