QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

TCI, Turkish Cabin Interior Inc., the joint venture of three major companies of aviation; Turkish Airlines, Turkish Technic and Turkish Aerospace Industries, was established in December 2010. The headquarters and manufacturing sites are located in Europe’s largest MRO Center, next to Sabiha Gokcen International Airport; Habom Facility in Istanbul, Turkey.

TCI currently design and manufacture both narrow and wide body commercial aircraft galleys and stowage, VIP galleys, aircraft equipment, provide retrofitting and repairing services for Boeing, Airbus and world’s leading airlines.

We are looking for “Quality System Engineer / Chief” in order to;

Ensure the operation and effectiveness of the AS9100 Quality Management System to comply with customer needs and expectations in accordance with the organization's quality policy and in line with the vision and goals of the organization.


Task, Authority and Responsibilities

  • To ensure the operation and effectiveness of the existing quality management system, to coordinate the internal audit activities in order to fulfill the requirements of the management systems and to follow the findings,
  • Taking role in preparation, review and issue of internal procedures/manuals,
  • Participating in system audits ensuring they meet the requirements of AS9100, SHGM/EASA Part 21G and 145 as well as any other future regulatory requirements,
  • Ensuring that audit plans are completed per planned schedule and analyzing audit results and assisting with improvements,
  • Follow up completion of non-conformances and quality concerns,
  • Gathering data and analyzing and evaluating facts to ensure compliance and improvement,
  • Providing training in regulatory requirements, human factors etc.
  • Developing and maintaining KPIs and proactive participation in TCI’s continuous improvement program,
  • Developing and managing the necessary studies in line with customer complaints and requests,
  • Participating in the audit process in internal, external and supplier audits and maintaining communication with third parties,
  • Collecting quality data (QAR) related to nonconforming product and corrective actions and presenting them as a quality report by analyzing them,
  • Consolidating and reporting inputs from management review meetings,
  • Any other reasonable duties as and when required.


Qualifications

  • Holding minimum Bachelor Degree in Aerospace / Mechanical / Industrial / Electrical / Material Engineering.
  • Proficiency in English.
  • Experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment, with a sound working knowledge of aerospace regulatory and quality requirements EASA/SHGM Part 21 and AS/EN9100.
  • ISO 9001, AS/EN9100 Quality Management System training and Auditor training.
  • Proficient in authoring internal procedure/ technical document.
  • Practical experience of quality system auditing.
  • Proven ability to supervise corrective actions and improvement activities.
  • Sound practical experience with MS Office programs. Ability to learn the use of new business software.
  • Ability to communicate (verbally and in writing) and to organize and work closely with others.
  • Working knowledge of Six Sigma tools.
  • Willingness to travel to supplier sites.
  • Strong prioritization skills.
  • Team building Skills.
  • Well-organized, detail-oriented, and ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to gather data, to compile information, and prepare reports.
