QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Assignments:

You will be supporting the Finance Manager on the main areas outlined below as well as the daily course of business. This role involves a heavy communication level with Group Finance team members in the UK and France.

Direct Line: Finance Manager

  • Controlling the monthly accounting closing process and supporting accounting function
  • Preparing and publishing monthly, quarterly, and annual IFRS financials to management via internal group reporting tools including man-hours and project costs
  • Taking part in budgeting/forecasting process
  • Monitoring and analyzing monthly operating results against budget & forecast, preparing ad-hoc reports.
  • Able to discuss financial matters with non-financial stakeholders, using jargon-free language
  • Taking an active role in solving complex tax issues
  • Improving usage of local accounting software, financial reporting system, and internal processes
  • Ensuring internal controls are timely performed according to group requirements
  • Monthly and periodical cash management
  • Liaise with banks, auditors, tax authorities, and other related third parties
  • Identifying potential risks & opportunities

Requested skills

  • University degree in finance & accounting, economics, business administration fields
  • Experience in general accounting, IFRS, management accounting, financial planning, budgeting & reporting, financial analysis
  • 4-5 years of experience in reporting, tax, or audit
  • Demonstrates high level of integrity/honesty
  • Great teammate, dynamic, flexible, eager to improve, initiative, analytical, detail-oriented
  • Deep understanding of Turkish Tax Laws & Regulations (Able to understand complex issues), knowledge of M&A is an asset
  • Controlling / Management reporting
  • Advanced level of verbal and written English
  • Excellent command of MS Excel and other MS Office applications
