QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Six Senses Kaplankaya presents a mosaic of architecture, history and art, and is within easy reach many famed archaeological sites. There are 141 guestrooms including six suites (75 in the main building and 66 Ridge Villas), all boasting stunning views to the Aegean Sea. Scope

  • Handle all local and overseas room-bookings.
  • Ensure that all reservation requests are replied efficiently.
  • Handle specific requests on room types and discounts.
  • Ensure all reservations are entered and updated in the computer.
  • Answer correspondences, e-mails and fax for reservations within 24 hours
  • Assist in all allocation of rooms.
  • Ensure that the statistic information are all entered and updated in the computer, such as travel agent, commercial etc.
  • Control room inventory in co-ordination with Revenue & Reservations Manager.
  • Respond promptly on the overbooking situation, close reservation for critical days and inform our associates.
  • Help in the review of work methods and procedures in reservations.
  • Assist the Revenue & Reservations Manager to achieve the maximum possible occupancy and average room rate to meet forecasted and budgeted figures.
  • Solve complaints from clients in regard to reservations and take immediate remedy action.
  • To follow all systems and procedures as laid down in the standard operating manual.
  • Responsible of the compilation and updating of the SOP’s of the reservation department.
  • Work and implement Six Senses best practice throughout the department with action plan.
  • Implement Six Senses standard to achieve maximum guest satisfaction.
  • Monitor and update internet reservation system in coordinate with respected colleagues.
  • Make daily weekly monthly reservation reports and statistics and ensure they are distributed to the respective departments.
  • Be polite and professional in any situation where the image or reputation of the hotel is represented.


Qualifications

  • Diploma of university completion from related faculty.
  • Minimum two years of similar experience in a reservation operation of a luxury resort or hotel.
  • Excellent written and verbal command on English and Turkish.
  • Additional languages are beneficial.
  • Demonstrate competent computer skills.
  • Very good knowledge of PMS/POS system.
  • Very good knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality, preferably having resort experience.
  • Great attention to details.
  • Creative and innovative.
  • Energetic with a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional guest relationship skills.
  • Can identify priorities and effectively execute tasks/projects accordingly and in a timely manner.
  • Highly interactive and service oriented.
  • Excellent counseling and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage, train and motivate a variety of people.
