QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
- Bachelor degree (or above) in Actuarial Sciences, Mathematics or Statistics,
- Preferably min. 1 years of experience in reserving,
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
- Good command on MS Office,
- Command on SAS and other software languages will be considered as an asset,
- Good knowledge on Reserving and Claims management (files by files, IBNR),
- Result oriented personality with strong planning and analytical thinking,
- Eager to learn, team player, able to work on a project basis,
- Deadline, delivery and performance oriented,
- Turkish Actuarial License will be considered as an asset.
Job Description:
- Perform IFRS reserve calculation on all lines of business (non life and health insurance),
- Ensure collection, consolidation and reconciliation of data needed for valuation purposes,
- Perform regular closing process and reports,
- Close follow-up on claims and UW policy and procedures in order to reflect important changes and make necessary amendments in ultimates’ estimate,
- Develop claims monitoring tool to analysis trends in both frequency and average cost evolution to ease ultimate’s assessment.
- Close follow-up of local regulation (including the preparation of local reports) and group standards,
- Provide support to pricing team through best estimate view on particular products (e.g. UW CoR calculation to be provided to Pricing team to define tariff measures),
- Contribute to the implementation of the Portfolio Management Process (in depth analysis of insurance portfolio to identify concrete actions to improve the profitability)
