We are seeking a Risk & Insurance Management Specialist who will directly report to the Global Risk Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Candidates are expected to have the following qualifications and skills:

· Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in Engineering, Business Administration, Economics or related fields

· Min. 4 - 6 years experience in Insurance Management, an end-to-end and in-depth involvement is a must. Enterprise Risk Management process knowledge is a plus.

· Ability to research and assess critical data and information to coordinate risk and insurance management activities of the company and its subsidiaries both in Turkey and abroad

· Experience in building and maintaining relationships with both internal parties (BoD, Senior Management, Mid-Level Management, Specialists, etc.) and external parties such as broker and insurance companies, external auditors and consultants, public institutions

· Having professional certificates with regard to risk management, audit or internal control (such as CRM, FRM, CIA, CFSA, CICA) is a plus

· Ability to design and elaborate optimal processes, models and frameworks for risk information systems

· Working knowledge with GRC applications

· Hands on experience in @RISK

· Excellent communication and presentation skills

· Advanced computer skills, excel and other MS Office applications

· Fluent in both written and spoken Turkish and English

· Analytical thinking, result oriented, enthusiastic,self motivated, energetic, fast in action but with detailed planning

· No restrictions to travel in Turkey and abroad.

· Completed military service, for male candidates


JOB DESCRIPTION

INSURANCE MANAGEMENT RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Within scope of renewal and acquisition of new coverage, determining the scope of coverage that adequately covers Kordsa’s relevant operations both in Turkey and abroad, making requests to Brokers and/or insurance companies

· Providing input for tender specification and announcing the tender

· Providing support to the senior management in the broker selection and authorization letter receipt processes

· Organizing meetings with the Broker / insurance companies to review the insurance coverages in line with the changing external and internal context

· Keeping and archiving insurance policy records

· Coordinating claim management operations

· Monitoring and reporting of trends related to the company's and its subsidiaries’ claim premium ratio, reporting of improvements and efforts made by the company’s subsidiaries and units

· Requesting overseas benchmarks (limit, exemption, claim information) from the broker and evaluating the provided information.

ERM RELATED RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Continuously improving the framework of risk assessment and management to ensure that similar standards are applied throughout Kordsa and its subsidiaries

· Continuously improving Enterprise Risk Management processes, policies and procedures, ensuring the establishment of limits and compliance with them within the organization

· Coordinating risk identification and assessment processes throughout the company and its subsidiaries, supporting risk owners and risk officers in these processes as well as in the development of risk mitigation plans (consolidating organizational, financial and insurance solutions when applicable)

· Coordination and monitoring of the reporting of risks within the organization

· Participating in the process of designing, selecting, implementing and preliminarily approving risk assessment models for quantifiable risks, regularly reviewing the models and updating them when necessary

· Ensuring that risk measurement and risk monitoring results are regularly and timely reported to the senior management, consolidating risk information by evaluating the accuracy, adequacy and consistency of the risk information within this scope and preparing reports to be submitted to the Early Detection of Risk Committee (EDRC)

· Ensuring the corporate risk registers are up to date

· Tracking the implementation of action plans and updating the EDRC accordingly

· Determining the training needs of the country / plant / unit risk officers and conducting and/or coordinating relevant trainings

· Ensuring accumulation of experience and good practices related to risk management in different units throughout the company and its subsidiaries
