QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education
- Knowledge of vehicle development processes and methods, especially of product data management (PDM / BOM)
- IT knowledge in CAD development systems, problem/incident management tools for CAD systems (Siemens NX) and Product Data Management Tools
- Strong analytical skills to deal with complex problems
- Project management and consulting methods
- Customer orientation and communication skills, high commitment, team player
- Fluent in English, German is an asset
Job Description:
- Consult and application support for CaX (Siemens NX) and EDM systems (SMARAGD EC)
- Coordination and implementation of central R&D IT projects in local entities Istanbul and Aksaray
- Project lead in respective task area for development of complex solutions and ensuring their high quality documentation
- Stakeholder and communication management with business departments
- Perform functional tests to confirm EDM & CaX system upgrades before hand over to business test
- Analysis and implementation of RD central/local change requests for central/local RD systems
- Review and release of R&D specific requirements, such as software requirements, Hardware requests, etc.
- Ensuring appropriate use of Daimler IT Project Management tools, governance, processes, policies and methodologies
- Transfer of CAD Data and 2D technical drawings to suppliers
