QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Anatolia is a leading manufacturer, importer and distributor of ceramic and stone tiles and is a major supplier to some of the largest home centers and distributors throughout the United States and Canada. Based in Toronto, Anatolia is a privately owned 100% Canadian corporation that is growing rapidly.
Anatolia has been operating in Aliaga, Izmir, Turkey since August, 2017 in its 60,000-square meter Distribution Centre. With this facility, Anatolia has been supporting its North American Customers, and continues to expand to new markets in Europe, Asia, South America and Middle East. In addition to its Distribution Center, the construction of Anatolia’s 250.000-square meter ceramic manufacturing facility is in progress with operations commencing in 2022.
Anatolia is now seeking a Senior Business Intelligence Specialist. With this role, you will contribute to the efficiency of our business by providing timely support to internal and external stakeholders. What you need is:
- Bachelor’s Degree in an Information Technology related discipline,
- A minimum of 4 to 7 years of relevant experience in RDBMS development such as MS SQL Server
- Experience with SAP is required, ideally with experience from within a warehousing and distribution environment
- Demonstrated experience and ability working with complex information as related to analysis, problem solving, and reasoning to provide substantial opportunity for planning and intellectual challenge
- Proven programming skills with VB, C, C++, web development, SQL, Tableau
- In-depth understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, data processing practices and procedures
- Experience of Business Objects is necessary
- Must be adaptive to technical change and be able and willing to acquire new skills to support new business application
- Excellent communication skills and proven analytical skills and organization skill required
- Understanding of project management an asset
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines while working with minimal supervision
- In-depth Support in Microsoft EXCEL, Access for End Business users
As a Sr. Business Intelligence Specialist you will be responsible for:
- Collects and analyzes user reporting requirements and, based on findings, designs functional specifications for BI front-end applications
- Develops custom analytics solutions, including statistical models, decision trees, segmentation solutions, attributes and analytical reports for various industries and business objectives
- Ensures data quality via proactively identifying data integrity issues and/or taking appropriate actions to ensure data accuracy
- Participates in projects relating to the implementation and use of SAP S/4HANA, Business Objectives, SAP BW, Microsoft BI software tools and systems
- Develops dashboards and reports as per business requests using business requests using business objects
- Provides data analysis and statistics support for business users according to business requirement
- Creates and maintain business Dashboards, ad-hoc reporting and KPI; s
- Supports Data Governance activities
