GENEL NİTELİKLER

Working as a Service Sales Engineer, you will be the support person for various Motors & Generators Service engineering projects in Motion, Service in Izmir, Turkey, providing technical details, costs and deliverables for sales proposals. In this role, you will make technical recommendations in various phases of customer projects to ensure successful delivery of project deliverables on time, within budget and in line with quality and safety guidelines.


Your responsibilities:

  • Prepares offers in coordination with the Sales Manager. Ensures appropriate technical and financial aspects of offers, including prices and trading conditions.
  • Regularly customer visits.
  • Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships to understand customer needs, promote customer understanding of full services offering, and align to provide a solution. Ensures a positive customer experience throughout the sales process.
  • Prepares sales plans using company tools. Performs regular status reviews.
  • Creates added value for the customer and ABB and ensures the successful outcome of transactions, contracts and proposals by using effective sales techniques.
  • Communicates details in accordance with ABB offering and strategy (delivery time, payments, and general terms and conditions).
  • Identifies and drives the development of new market opportunities in the designated market and ensures know-how sharing and cross-collaboration.
  • Actively promoting ABB’s service products and solutions in marketing activities such as events and trade shows while monitoring trends to develop effective marketing activities.
  • Manages administrative procedures in sales processes, and supports collection and project management activities when needed.


Your background:

  • Graduated from Electrical or Electrical and Electronic Engineering faculties.
  • Fluently speak Turkish and English language.
  • Experienced professional with knowledge of sales and customer service best practices.
  • Service, Product and market knowledge of Motors and Drives is an asset.
  • Able to communicate effectively, able to manage contract negotiations.
  • Having a valid driving license & no obstacle for traveling.
  • Willing to travel frequently for customer visit and presentation.
  • Self-motivation, curiosity and a desire to learn about new technologies.
  • Highly motivated, ambitious, enthusiastic, dynamic, a real team player, customer oriented and passion for learning with strong communication skills.
  • Strong time management / prioritization skills.
  • Computer skills ; Good MS Office user, SAP and Salesforce is preferable.
