QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for Supplier Quality Performance Engineer in Istanbul Tuzla Plant.

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in quality and/or production
  • Quality skills in analysis, root cause definition, problem solving, action plan definition
  • Knowledge of standard control measurements methods and equipment
  • Knowledge about main quality tools (8D, Ishikawa, Factor tree analysis, 5 Why, Control Plan, FMEA)
  • Technical knowledge for at least one technological commodity / segment
  • Communication skills to build bridges between different support functions and suppliers
  • Curious, creative, and willing to learn
  • SAP, Microsoft, Outlook, ERP – good knowledge


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Be responsible for the strict application of internal procedures and the Supplier Quality Manual, internally and with suppliers
  • Use the SAP transactions (T-Codes) according to VP-Q-511, assigned to your activities and responsibilities
  • In collaboration with SQD team, follow the development of LI parts until the PPAP validation
  • Implement systematically the first level analysis for any quality claim involving a purchased component
  • Lead the first level analysis process and coach/guide the involved team members
  • Manage and challenge the content of suppliers 8D reports after the containment activity is implemented, and until its closure
  • Measure, and follow: The number of claims monthly and for 3 rolling months (informal, formal, critical), supplier IPB & Supplier PPM, recurrent quality claims
  • Organize top worst supplier meetings, monitor supplier’s improvement / recovery plan, and follow quality performance progress
  • Collect and record the data of all costs induced by a quality issue (QR), in order to provide them to purchasing for proceeding to supplier charge back
  • When necessary, assess corrective actions at supplier plant to validate the implemented corrective actions and to verify their efficiency, as per 8D report
  • Audit and validate supplier Quality walls for all open QR after a customer claim, when a purchased component is involved
  • Monitor the yearly requalification of supplier components as per the control plan for the component
