The Sustainability Executive will join the sustainability team and will report to the Sustainability Manager.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree Environmental Engineering departments
- Experienced in the field of sustainability for 2-3 years,
- Experienced in Sustainability Reporting or taking part in the work team
- Knowledge of carbon footprint calculation
- Experienced in supplier & sub-manufacturer relations and process management,
- Knowledge of national and international laws and regulations on sustainability,
The main responsibilities:
- To follow the sustainability policies of the company, to communicate and report the actions to be taken and the changes made when the policies are updated,
- To question the certificates that the suppliers should have in line with the sustainability goals, to follow the certificate validity periods, to keep the certificates up-to-date in communication with the suppliers,
- To provide technical support to suppliers in order to obtain their certificates in the field of sustainability and to meet the requirements,
- To collect and interpret data on sustainability and to prepare relevant reports,
- Supporting the collection of data from the relevant departments in the preparation of the annual sustainability report,
- To follow and support practices within the scope of environmental legislation such as waste management, packaging waste notification, ECBS system use, zero waste processes in stores, platforms and centers,
- Establishing the ISO 14001 environmental management system and supporting the continuation of the practices,
- To carry out relevant research and studies in line with the company's sustainability strategy on environmental and sustainability issues,
- Supporting the preparation of content for the digital sustainability platform, and the development of content such as guides, catalogs, etc. on the subject of environment and sustainability.
