QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Olam Progıda Tarım Urunleri Sanayi ve A.S We are looking for a Tax and Legal Affairs Specialist with the following qualifications to be assigned to our Head Office in Istanbul.
Qualifications;
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics.
- Minimum 3 years of similar experience preferably in audit companies (Big4)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Excellent working knowledge of Tax laws and regulations
- Proficiency in MS Office applications
- Having SAP knowledge is an asset.
- Strong communication skills and a good team player
- Excellent presentation and reporting skills
- Analytical and Problem-solving skills.
- Excellent Communication and People skills
- Military service must be completed for male applicants
Job Description;
- Ensuring that tax operations are carried out by local and international legislation within the scope of the company's tax strategies
- Examination of local and international tax legislation and related publications; ensuring the creation of circulars deemed necessary
- Preparation and response to information requests and inquiries from tax inspections and revenue administrations
- Guiding in tax-related matters
- Fulfillment of other duties assigned by the relevant directorate within the scope of the task
- Perform WHT review and ensure the correct withholding tax rates are applied
- Preparation and submission Withholding Tax, Corporate Income Tax, Personal Income Tax in coordination with Tax advisors
- Provide support to all teams on project tax matters.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties like external auditors, tax agents, corporate secretarial agents, banks where required
- Coordinate and perform tax incentives process.
- Assist in compliance matters and legal issues.
