Finance Permanent Control & Projects Manager

We are seeking for an experienced Finance / Risk professional who has strong mindset and experience on Financial Controlling and/ or Internal Controlling missions. The role directly reports to the TEB Arval CFO and in coordination locally with Corporate Financial Permanent Control, Local Accounting, Financial Control, Local Operational Control departments and externally with Auditors, Tax Consultants and TEB Holding. The role is a personal influencer, with no team management duties but has potential to grow in the company both for local and global positions.

Requirements:

  • A Qualified and passionate professional graduated from Economics, Business Administration, Finance or Engineering departments. Having Master degree or CPA / CFA certificates are strong assets for the position.
  • Minimum 5-7 years of experience previously on Internal Control, Financial Control or Accounting departments
  • Ideally to have work experience in one of the Big Four Audit firms for at least 3 years.
  • Strong understanding of IFRS & Turkish GAAP Standards
  • Risk-adverse mindset who can identify and mitigate the risks in Finance organization
  • Multi-tasking, ability to work under pressure
  • Logical thinker with ability to interpret long term impact
  • Ability to work in a multi-cultural environment
  • Ability to elaborate and adapt processes and manage a project from design phase to implementation
  • Very strong on Analytical skills, providing rationalistic approach for decision making
  • Effective communication skills, both on remote and office environment
  • Advanced skills and knowledge of MS Office, with a strong expertise in Excel

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the interface between Corporate FPC function and the local finance departments
  • Ensure the implementation of sound and relevant permanent control frameworks at local level and the periodic update of these frameworks
  • Perform LoD2 controls (independent review) on Accounting and Management Control:
  • Evaluate the LoD1 system and check the adequacy of the system that allows the correct management of the risk
  • Implement independent testing on LOD1 and LOD2 controls. Check that the LoD1 controls are appropriate and effective
  • Identify the risk areas insufficiently covered by procedures and controls and helps defining new controls to improve the system.
  • Adapt the Finance & Accounting processes in the case of major development of accounting systems or the launch of new activities (e.g., next securitization activity)
  • 8.Design and implement Internal Control Committee where main Finance Risks are presented to the CFO and other stakeholders
  • Follow the implementation of internal and external recommendations (Statutory Auditors, Regulators, Inspection General, etc)
  • Raise alerts to CFO and Corporate Finance Permanent Control function
