QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Assignments:

1. To ensure financial and management reports are prepared duly and in line with Group requirements.

2. To prepare and discuss monthly, quarterly & annual budget, budget revisions & forecasts with local management and the Group.

3. To elaborate, discuss and prepare the business plan with local management and the Group.

4. Actively participate in the feasibility studies during tenders.

5. To develop relationships with banks and establish contact with a network of banks potentially interested in renewable energy.

6. To manage Company's cash flow, noncash requirements, and intercompany cash balance with the parent company.

7. To coordinate & manage the work of local Financial Audits.

8. To be the link with the Head Office for all reporting matters.

9. To liaise with the local accountant and tax auditors for all accounting/tax matters and ensure the Company (and, where appropriate, its subsidiaries) fulfills all local requirements regarding accounting, tax, payroll obligations.

10. To propose solutions to improve the Company's tax position with tax advisors and present the Company in the administrative institution.

11. To lead bookkeepers to produce annual accounts/tax returns of the Company.

12. To ensure that the Company has implemented and respects all necessary procedures to safeguard assets/cash and propose amendments as necessary

13. To ensure that the Company complies with all group standards in terms of accounting procedures.

14. To fulfill the duties and services provided and any additional tasks assigned by the Legal Representative of the Employer, General Management of the Company, or by any of first-line superiors.

15. To perform all duties expected of the position with the due diligence and skill required of a person in such a position and to participate in training allocated.

16. To contribute and participate in the Company's HSQE and HR procedures and policies.

Local Accounting

1. Ensure that the company (and where appropriate, its subsidiary companies) fulfill all local requirements regarding accounting, tax obligations, and particularly in terms of

a. VAT returns.

b. Tax returns.

c. Social security returns.

d. Life insurance and health returns.

e. Any other local requirements.

f. Payment of the wages according to the amount declared by the HR department.

g. Collection and assembly of timesheets.

h. Car leasing arrangements, office leases.

i. Ensure financial commitments and invoice approval follow Board

2. Established procedures & solutions to improve the tax position of the Company.

3. Ensure that the Company has implemented and respects all necessary procedures to safeguard assets/cash and propose amendments if necessary

4. Ensure that the Company complies with all group standards in terms of financial procedures

Project Closing

1. Support commercial team in the closing of projects sold in Turkey, experience in sell-side M&A is preferable

2. Ensure relevant accounting principles are applied for the sale of projects.

3. Support the negotiation of contracts in terms of legal, tax, corporate secretary, and funding issues

4. Review all types of contracts, including SPAs, from tax, accounting, and financial perspectives.

Financials/banks

1. Develop relationships with our banks and establish contact with a network of banks potentially interested in renewable energy.

2. Negotiate with banks and implement credit facility/guarantee lines to support our business activity.

HSQE (Health, Safety, Quality, and Environment)

1. Respect quality and safety procedures within the Company.

2. Participate in the definition of finance procedures & policies for the Company.

3. Participate in or initiate corrective actions and continuous improvement of quality & safety procedures.

Reports supervised:

· Monthly financial statements to GM and Regional CEO.

· Quarterly Group Finance financial report.

· Annual Budget and Annual Financial Report.

· Monthly KPI reports.

Requested skills

· University degree in Finance/Business or equivalent.

· Experience in finance/accounting management.

· Experience in project-based budget and reporting.

· Have strong interpersonal & communication skills.

· Excellent command of English both in written and spoken.

· Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications.

· Military service completed for male candidates.

Location

Istanbul, Turkey

Position constraints

· %70 desk job, %30 collaboration works.

· Non-frequent travels in Turkey & abroad.
