This role is based in Istanbul, Turkey, with 2 years contract and directly reports to Supply Chain Manager.

Temporary Supply Chain Partner, BAMEAC

The position
As a Supply Chain Partner, you will be responsible for ensuring Novo Nordisk product availability to patients across BAMEAC Countries with uninterrupted, efficient, and compliant supply in the Business Area.

  • Demonstrate a growth-focused mindset by proactively finding and adding value to our customer and stakeholder relations in and beyond affiliates.
  • Work independently towards BAMEAC countries for ensuring product availability for in-market demand, appropriate inventory levels, and accurate replenishment from our production to the countries
  • To support the product supply chain into and within the BAMEAC countries in accordance with Good Distribution Practice (GDP), local legislation & business requirements (including management of third-party distribution partners)

Business Partnering:

  • Participate and organize BAMEAC Supply Chain meetings between Finance & Operations directors, quality, sourcing and legal responsibility in the BAMEAC countries to strengthen the Centre of Excellence
  • Ensuring product supply for both launches of new products & discontinuation of withdrawal products
    Single point of contact both key internal and external stakeholders

Operation Excellence and Improvement Initiatives:

  • Supporting business development projects across the affiliate (new launch planning, sourcing optimization, Due Diligence, process optimization, as well as no. of SKU optimization)
  • Demand and Supply planning while Ensuring optimal stock levels, incl. obligatory safety stocks according to local laws in the BAMEAC countries as well as ensuring adequate local supply to all customers in each country.
  • Driving and coordinating with relevant stakeholders to ensure forecasting used for internal product ordering (GSF) is up to date and of the highest possible standard.


House in Order and Compliance:

  • Ensuring documentation is produced and stored according to internal and external requirements.
  • Ensuring appropriate actions in line with relevant SoPs are executed in a timely manner in the event of a product recall or stock related crisis management situation

Qualifications
You have a relevant academic degree, preferably Industrial Engineering or other related faculties, or equivalent with a minimum 3 years of proven experience preferably in the supply chain, demand planning, forecasting, customer service, and import/export environment within experience in the related area preferably in pharmaceutical, healthcare or fmcg. You have excellent command over both written and spoken English and have a relevant business background.

  • Experience and exposure to international trade and basic knowledge on international trade tools
  • Proficient with PC tools, extensive knowledge of MS Office, SAP
  • Experience with project management and a mindset towards business development and continuous improvement
  • Willingness and abilities to drive change
  • Strong analytical, coordination, collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills
