Job Description
GMG is a research-based pharmaceutical company seeking talented Brand Assistants to be trained
for its growing organization. As a member of the global marketing team, you will be supporting the
creation and implementation of corporate marketing strategy for the company portfolio in cooperation
with all national and international marketing team. This position will play an important role in basic
marketing communications in the therapeutic areas in which we operate in close cooperation with the
International Product Managers and Medical Department. Positions will be based in Istanbul.
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Assist the Product Managers in the development and implementation of global brand plans
across multiple markets.
· Assist the Brand Manager in the development and implementation of global brand plans
across multiple markets.
· Work closely with New Product Introduction team to ensure new Brand Launches/Initiatives
are delivered based on the defined cycle plan.
· Work closely with support functions and international marketing teams to ensure brand
initiatives and cycle activities are implemented according to brand objectives
· Analyse brand related data to generate insights, identify potential issues and propose
corrective actions and/or new brand activities.
· Assist in the development of brand specific Activation initiatives and contribute to the overall
development of Brand Activation plans.
· Understand the impact of cost elements on brand profitability and monitor, report/follow brand
support expenditure
· Liase with external agencies to ensure assigned brand activities are in line with the
requirements of the brief while maintaining day to day communication to achieve desired
outcome
· Other duties as may be assigned on Project base
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor’s degree in sciences, marketing, business, or related discipline. MBA strongly
preferred.
· At least a year of professional experience in marketing positions is a big plus
· Fluency in English is must. .
· Strong communication skills both written and oral, and ability to influence others.
· Strong multi-tasking ability.
