As the Budget Control Manager, Operations; you will play an important role in driving the company to its goals through close business partnering to Supply Chain Operations and active collaboration with the global/regional teams.
In the context of your job, you will report to the Head of Controlling and be directly responsible from the following with the assistance of your direct reports.
In this role you will;
- Animate company financial performance cycle through monthly forecasting proces and monitor risks & opportunities for supply chain departments
- Manage Danone Group Rolling Forecast process (quarterly & monthly rolling forecasts. Contribute & push others to deliver commitments supported with detailed financial analysis
- Identify and drive cost improvement opportunities, to be an active contributor to productivity projects, validate, review and track proposed savings
- Manage Capital Expenditures, feasibility analysis with operations team, calculating ROI, payback periods
- Manage the relations with and requests from the Global/Regional teams
- Ensure completeness, accuracy and timely delivery of CBU business reporting
- Coordinating the implementation of improvements to company Business Intelligence tools (SAP/BW system)
- Ensuring compliance of Danone Group Accounting and Internal Control rules
To be able to be successful in the role, you need to have:
- University degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering or related fields
- Min 8 years of experience in financial & business control, reporting, planning functions
- IFRS reporting experience & basic accounting knowledge is required
- Financial controlling experience is required / FMCG experience is an asset
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- MS Office (advanced excel) knowledge; SAP knowledge is an asset
- Excellent organization, planning and negotiations skills
- High leadership skills to manage the team, peers & subordinates effectively
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Manage complexity and contradictions with resilience and tenacity
