Business Development and Planning Specialist


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related fields
  • 3+ years of experience in Strategic Planning, Finance, Business Development departments in multi-national companies,
  • Technology and/or Telecommunications experience is an asset
  • Planning, project management, and coordination skills with organized working processes
  • Functional expertise in the fields of strategy planning, business development, project management, financial planning, and feasibility studies
  • Strong problem solving and presentation skills
  • Good command of MS Office Applications
  • A can-do attitude and willingness to take on challenges
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills
  • High level of energy & pro-active “can do” attitude
  • Strong skills in negotiation, communication, relationship management and teamwork
  • Innovative, open to development and improvement

JOB DESCRIPTION


You will be expected to:

  • Conduct market and competition analysis as well as develop market entry, growth and distribution strategies
  • Prepare a long-term plan for the company based on global or local projections in a related industry
  • Lead sophisticated research and analysis (e.g., revenue, customer, market and competitive trends and insights) in terms of global business perspective for senior leadership to support decision-making
  • Prepare and implement transaction strategies for acquisitions, carve-outs, joint venture, and integration concepts; analyze business models for commercial due diligence projects, including a screening of acquisitions
  • Support to the development, implementation and continuous improvement of the organization's business planning approach
  • Support to develop a deep understanding of market/industry dynamics, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative inputs
  • Build business plans and analytical models to support the decision process
  • Identify and evaluate scenarios and strategic options
  • Analyze business-specific cases, challenging and verifying short-long term impacts along with the company strategy and financial plans
  • Build a comprehensive understanding of the industry dynamics
  • Develop pitches and internal presentations


Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop 5-year Business Plan according to company business strategy
  • Engage with finance to create annual budget (up to gross margin level)
  • Ensure the quality of cascading TTI strategic objectives into targets and balanced score cards. (Company and CxO Level)
  • Prepare and submit periodic (quarterly/annual) and ad-hoc reports to the management and stakeholders highlighting KPIs performance and areas of strengths and opportunities for improvement
  • Carry out analysis to identify improvement areas and lead business improvement projects, provide support on ad-hoc / project based commercial feasibility analysis
  • Jointly with Business Development, work with (where applicable) Market Development, Commercial Units, Technology and Finance to lead commercial projects (e.g., new product road maps, expansion strategies, sea cable and other projects) involving multiple parties and conduct feasibility analysis.
