QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

B&T Design is looking for a furniture project sales experienced Business Development Manager to employ in its Istanbul office. As BDM, you will support the Head of International Sales Manager in finding new dealers, supporting and developing the existing ones and specifying B&T Products in new projects in GCC region by visiting dealers, designers, architects on a regular basis.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluent in English (advanced level),
  • No travel restrictions,
  • At least 5 years of experience in project sales in Furniture Sector,
  • Familiar with MS office programmes and preferably being able to use Autocad,
  • Competent at project follow-up and development,
  • Successful in establishing administrative relations,
  • Having management and leadership skills,
  • Being inquisitive and result oriented,
  • Capable to use written and verbal communication channels effectively,
  • Demonstrating planning and organizational skills.


JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Follow up and development of projects,
  • Follow up of domestic/foreign project work and establishing a system,
  • Supervision and regular reporting of domestic/international operations,
  • Establishing and maintaining relations with foreign partners and institutions,
  • To plan the negotiations with other countries and to follow up and conclude the meeting by establishing the necessary connections for these meetings
  • To be able to create a result-oriented environment with a joint effort,
  • To have information about sectoral developments and relevant legislation,
  • Taking a role in determining trends and new strategies related to the sector and processes,
  • Analyzing reports from all departments and projects and monitoring processes,
  • Making competitor analysis with market research,
  • Evaluating new projects as well as supporting ongoing projects,
  • Ensuring the management and coordination of new projects in line with time, technical and cost elements,
  • Identifying business opportunities and reporting to senior management in order to increase the market share of the institution,
  • To prepare and follow the annual budget of the business development department,
  • To be able to manage, plan and coordinate all sales and business development activities in accordance with the company's policy,
  • To be able to produce strategic plans by improving business development and sales processes,
