Business Development Specialist
We are looking for a new team member to join our Business Development team, where our focus is growing the business with new products, new sectors, and new customers in the lubricants industry
Responsibilities
- To support business growth with both existing and potential customers by working on projects, whilst collaborating with internal and external stakeholders
- To conduct literature searches to have a detailed understanding of new project areas and preparing presentations
- Identify growth opportunities and support on projects through to their commercial implementation.
- Conduct customer discovery, market research, and product benchmarking to conduct project feasibility, competitive positioning and market trends that will support growth strategies.
- Work collaboratively with R&D, sales, marketing and supply chain departments on new product development projects and new product implementation.
- Develop expertise of the product portfolio and support customers’ technical requests, collaborating with R&D and sales where needed.
- Join customer trials for new products where needed
- Support on preparation of technical documents for the relevant areas
- Prepare reports through CRM tools
- Technical sales support.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or related subjects.
- MBA is a plus.
- At least 3 years experience in a similar role, with technical background and possibly background in R&D
- Industry knowledge in lubricants, industrial oils or oleo chemicals will be preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Fluent in English.
- Project and time management skills.
- Excellent computer skills with MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point etc).
- Knowledge of ERP or other CRM system is a plus.
- Analytical problem solver, proactive approach, curious, good persuasion and negotiation skills.
- Preferably living in Gebze - Kocaeli - İstanbul ( Göztepe-Maltepe-Tuzla-Pendik)
