Qualifications
- University degree preferably with relevant educational background Logistics/Foreign Trade/Import
- Multinational corporation experience is a plus, knowledge of retail import regulations
- Fluency in both written and spoken English
- Experience with customs documentation, knowledge of international trade terms and requirements, cost calculations and import planning
- Ability to self-manage and to take responsibility
- Analytical thinking, team working, planning, result and quality-oriented approach and good communication skills
- Proficiency in MS Office
- Hard-working, highly motivated and team player
Job Description
- Managing all import and export processes in accordance with customs legislation and company rules
- To make domestic and international correspondence regarding import and export operations
- Providing follow-up if there are changes about arrivals, make updates as required and inform the sales division
- Working in coordination with the customs brokerage, obtaining all necessary documents/permits and preparing work orders
- Ensuring compliance with import rules, regulations, and modulations
- Track and follow up local legislation improvements and announce to related parties on time
- Ensuring communication in the business process of foreign departments-carriers-customer brokerage-sales force
- Arranging shipments according to the demands of the foreign departments and sales force
- Planning of urgent transfer or transportation in case of needed
- Being in constant communication with stores and managers to provide necessary information on time
- Making cost analyze and document controls of the files which import-export transactions are completed, archiving, and forwarding them to the accounting
- Reporting on regular basis to related parties
- Preparing logistics presentations for top management and foreign colleagues
- Training sales force in case of any new regulation or flow is altered
- Improving the department in every aspect to speed the process with minimum costs.
- Examining and auditing the quality of work of service providers and suggesting changes when necessary
