BTG-LAYERMARK is looking for a Channel Account Executive (Security Solutions) to join our Channel Sales team. This team is responsible for achieving and exceeding revenue targets through pipeline generation, marketing activities, and engagement with focus and regional customers.


The Channel Account Executive will be responsible for winning, maintaining, and expanding relationships with our prospects & customers in order to drive sales efforts towards net new customer expansion, leveraging our market-leading solutions. A successful Channel Account Executive will thrive on providing value to their prospects & customers and take an active interest in creating opportunities to increase satisfaction and deepen relationships with them.

This is a dynamic role representing both Invicti brands (Netsparker and Acunetix) and requires strategic thinking, strong sales acumen, and a willingness to support the broader prospect & customer base in achieving and exceeding sales goals. The Channel Account Sales Team is critical to our growth strategy.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Building relationships and working with our prospects & customers and Partner Account Managers to generate pipeline and close sales
  • Building a quality lead pipeline by sourcing new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and personal outbound motions
  • Working with Customer Success team to develop customer relationships and account expansions
  • Efficiently moving the lead pipeline through the sales process
  • Accurately manage, track, and forecast revenue opportunities in our CRM (SalesForce)
  • Understanding the needs and requirements of our small to mid-sized business (SMB) customers
  • Communicating a compelling and concise value proposition for potential customers
  • Qualifying prospects, closing sales, and achieving quarterly quotas
  • Performing customized presentations and product demonstrations
  • Keeping current with our product release information including sales materials, product roadmap, features, and competition


What You'll Need:

  • 2+ years of successful Channel Sales experience within the security industry or affiliated sector, preferably in the SaaS space (security or web app scanning sales experience a major plus)
  • High levels of organization and time management
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving sales growth
  • Proven track record of identifying customer needs and successfully implementing solutions
  • Top-tier interpersonal communication and relationship building skills
  • Comfort in developing a technical understanding of how Invicti products work for our customers in order to enable stronger sales cycles
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated knowledge of managing pipelines, lead generation, business plan execution, and complex sales with channel partners and end-users
  • Must be able to understand and articulate Invicti’s value propositions
  • Must have demonstrable experience creating new business opportunities and selling via indirect channels (Distribution, resellers, SI’s and MSSP)
  • Must be willing to roll sleeves up and lead from the front as an individual contributor but liaise with global colleagues about global Channel/MSSP programs
