QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree Mechanical/ Industrial/ Management Engineering, Statistics, Math, Business, Finance Departments or equivalents,
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills,
- Experienced in steel and steel/grey iron casting purchasing (as semi-product or final product),
- Experienced in cnc-machining services and purchasing machined components,
- Knowledge of stock market of raw material follow-up,
- Knowledge of costing of weld fabricated parts,
- Knowledge of Turkish code of commerce and purchasing contracts,
- Knowledge of technical drawings and tolerancing,
- Fluent in English spoken and written (Knowledge of French and/or German will be an asset),
- Must be willing to travel both domestically and internationally,
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office,
- The ability to priorities and plan effectively,
- Analytical thinking, dynamic, team player, good interpersonal skills,
- Driving License (B level is required),
- There should be no obstacle to enter Schengen area and UK,
- No military obligation for male candidates.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Negotiate and agree price and commercial conditions with steel suppliers for internal production welded parts,
- Negotiate and agree price and commercial conditions with local and abroad steel fabrication suppliers (frame, bucket vs suppliers),
- Prepare cost analysis of internal fabricated parts,
- Negotiate with suppliers to reach optimum price which will maintain stability and continuity of the product,
- Transfer Mecalac technical requirements of the products correctly to the suppliers,
- Prepare cost reduction plans for welded, fabricated and casted products and steel materials.
