QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

You will report directly to the Head of Expansion PMO

You are responsible for:

  • Oversee the development and implementation of architectural designs for a Project
  • Coordinate the activities of a project design team to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of construction
  • Contact suppliers to get quotations for a project design and construction management
  • Provide the Management Team with recommendations on building code requirements, zoning, and material specification
  • Supervise project design & construction operations to ensure compliance with established specifications and standards
  • Maintain project quality control by reviewing and making necessary adjustments on project drawings
  • Develop and implement policies for the production of construction documents, architectural designs, and procedures for construction
  • Carry out cost estimates to determine the budget required for project materials, equipment, labor, making the selection of the relevant suppliers together with the project and Procurement departments
  • Handle administrative and non-technical functions while working on small scale projects
  • Preparing specifications for the project constructions, checking the conformity of the specification and making the necessary inspections
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of architectural project procedures and standards
  • Motivate and mentor the project design and development team to ensure timely and effective completion of projects
  • Prepare, develop, and adjust project models, diagrams alongside a project manager
  • Establishing the necessary connections with local authorities, following up on permits, etc.
  • Present periodic reports to the Management Team to update them on the progress of a project

QUALIFICATION

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in architecture, civil engineering, or equivalent departments
  • Minimum 5 years of experience
  • Coordinate project design and construction operations to ensure effective and timely completion
  • Excellent command of English
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
  • Good knowledge of AutoCAD

  • Being able to interact with project managers, and design personnel to identify and achieve project objectives
  • Being adept at working with a team of project design and technical personnel to achieve a common goal.
  • Excellent resource and time management, communication skills
  • Strong reporting and analysis skills
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Free to travel a lot
  • Warehouse construction / renovation knowledge/background/experience is an asset
