QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Description
- Training, coaching, and mentoring operations teams to empower them with leveraging operations tools and systems to meet daily business needs,
- Analyzing work flows and carrying out process improvement activities in coordination with production units,
- Preparing Kaizen events and suggestion systems, monitors the results of the action plans, and writes or modifies standards to register changes to the processes,
- Executing lean and 5S projects for existing production lines as per the guidelines,
- Making process time and cost analyzes, carrying out improvement activities in this context,
- Taking an active role in improvement activities in production areas,
- Leading the projects to be created in order to increase production/equipment efficiency and reduce losses,
- To prepare and follow-up documents related to continuous improvement,
- Making daily 5S audits, analyzing and reporting in the production area,
- Prepare, mentor and review Continuous Improvement projects,
- Verification of the returns of improvement projects together with the financial control unit.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Manufacturing/Mechanical/Industrial preferred)
- Minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience in implementation of operational improvement within the manufacturing environment,
- Lean and/or Six Sigma training with a strong understanding of lean tools/techniques and their effective use
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English,
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, SAP experience is a plus,
- Effective communication and team development skills,
- Ability of effectively work and communication with all departments,
- Driving Licence is a must,
- Living/willing to live in Istanbul Anatolian Side or Gebze/Kocaeli.
