QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
We are a multinational company located in İstanbul/Asia side.We are looking for “Costing and Month-end Closing Manager”,
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/ Finance or related
- Min 5 years’ experience in process improvement within Cost Accounting in manufacturing industry
- Experience in leading and mentoring junior and intermediate members of staff.
- Fluency in English required, additional European languages are preferred (beneficial languages include, but not limited to, French, Spanish, German, Russian, Polish)
- Solid knowledge of SAP
- Experience of working in a shared services finance role preferred
- Strong communication skills are essential
- No military obligation for male candidates
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain cost accounting standards and systems
- Review and be responsible for cost accounting related matters by the team as per SLA
- Maintain operational dashboard; on a regular basis, track and publish operational metrics achieved by the team and improve efficiencies
- Manage the team for the cost accounting month end close to ensure the deadlines & deliverables as agreed
- Lead and mentor a team within the newly created Shared Services Centre
- Ensure accounts are mapped and allocated to appropriate cost pools
- Monitor and review of cost accounting and related system reports for accuracy and completeness
- Oversee and analyse costs
- Monitor costs and comparing budget with actual expenses
- Assist in organizing and analyzing accurate capital cost of expenditure as well as tracking of fixed assets
- Preparation of cost reports and profit-and-loss statements
- Examine and recommend cost-cutting measures in the manufacturing process
- Ensure reconciliation of inventory balances
- Prepare documentation for cost audits
- Prepare cost data for intercompany charges
- Support preparation of meaningful analysis, interpretation and presentation of cost accounting data for the various Heads of the BU’s and local management to enable them to make the best business decisions
- Support resolving accounting discrepancies
- Support enhancing process efficiencies and internal control
- Support legal internal and external audits
