QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION
Founded in 1999 to offer office workers the meal card solution for their lunch needs, our company became the subsidiary of the French Up Group in 2010, transforming into Multinet Up - a financial technology group serving in many different fields. As part of Multinet Up, iPara is Turkey’s first fintech initiative and electronic money company, offering businesses a virtual payment infrastructure. Our subsidiaryininal proposes payment solutions for unbanked individuals. Finally,inventiv, our technocity company created in 2016, combines IT and R&D activities in areas such as card/cardless payment methods, mobile payment, mobile application and cyber security solutions.
Our understanding of an economy without borders has made us the only company with a non-bank payment system in the Turkish Fintech Ecosystem for 4 years.

We are looking for a Data Scientist to join our team with the following qualifications:
· Bachelors degree
· 1-3 years of experience in statistical analysis and research of large data sets
· Experience in developing statistical models
· A good understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms
· Hands-on work experience with data analytics / management platforms such as SAS, R, Python, SPSS and Matlab
· Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills
· Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint applications,
· Experience in BI tool, prefered Power BI
· Strong communication, report and presentation skills with ability to present results and solutions in a clear way
· Passionate about learning new technologies and creating innovative solutions
· Good team player and result oriented attitude
Job Description
· Carry out and develop strategic analysis & models (predictive modeling)
· Work within data analytics platforms to identify trends and patterns in large data sets and build analytical models
· Selecting features, building and optimizing classifiers when necessary using machine learning techniques
· Develop reports&dashboards to measure the impact of analytic model’s results and sales sources
· Communicate results and influence business leaders
· Extending existing data with third party sources of information when needed
