We are looking for a Financial Risk Specialist (Market Risk) to take part in Şişecam Headquarters located in Tuzla / Istanbul;


  • Bachelor’s degree preferably in Engineering, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or a related fields
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office especially Excel knowledge (VBA knowledge is a strong plus)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • On hands experience in valuation platforms (e.g. Bloomberg, Reuters etc.)
  • Advanced Analytical skills,
  • Interested in Data Science


JOB DESCRIPTION


  • Determination of financial risk management policies and procedures together with the Treasury Directorate and Risk Management & Audit Department and ensuring compliance with the policy by performing the necessary tests
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate market risks for the Group
  • Monitor, analyze and assess movements in financial markets in relation to the Group’s risk profile
  • Providing support to the relevant unit by working in coordination with the Treasury Directorate in the measurement and reporting offx, interest, commodity,customer credit and liquidity risks
  • Making pricing and risk measurements of treasury products (including financial derivative instruments)
  • Supporting the Treasury Directorate in determining the necessary strategies by performing natural and financial hedging performance tests
  • Making scenario, sensitivity, simulation and “at-risk” studies(CFaR and VaR)on the balance sheet and financial portfolio
