QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Description

We are looking for a Global Product Support engineer who will take responsibilities on identifying and resolving problems reported from customers sites.

Working closely with Ribbon customers in order to provide customer oriented technical solutions

Identifying and resolving problems reported from customers sites

Collaborating with software engineering teams in order to reflect the customer software issues from customer and technical perspectives

Providing 7/24 customer support for very urgent issues based on a team schedule

Reporting the investigation results based on the deadline informed to customers

Qualifications

  • BSc. in Electrical/Electronical Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering or Computer Engineering required,
  • Experience in following areas;
  • TCP/IP, SIP, SDP, RTP protocol knowledge,
  • Knowledge on VoIP technologies,
  • Previous experience on CS2K and ATCA based systems is a plus,
  • Knowledge on Linux Operating Systems and Linux Scripting.
  • Fluency in English (both verbal and written)
  • Fast Troubleshooting,
  • Excellent teamwork and problem-solving skills,
  • Good communication skills; ability to build trust and influence,
  • Good analytical skills, and being eager to develop and take on responsibility,
  • Completed military service or deferred at least 2 years (for male candidates)
