Roles and Responsibilities
- Providing the full range of HR support from organizational to individual and administrative in his/her responsibility area(core HR/Payroll)
- Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy
- Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with HR CoE teams and contributes to the area
- May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures
- A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships both for blue & white collar employees and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Min 5 years of hands-on experience in HR function within a complex international organization
- Advance level of English
- Exposure to unionized manufacturing environment and CLA proc
- High degree of discretion when taking care of confidential information
- Highly analytical approach with a strong eye for detail
- Structured working style and focus on delivering results as per agreed timelines and scope
