QUALIFICATIONS AND JOB DESCRIPTION

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Providing the full range of HR support from organizational to individual and administrative in his/her responsibility area(core HR/Payroll)
  • Broadening knowledge of theories, practices and procedures in own discipline to execute functional policy
  • Basic understanding of key business drivers; uses this understanding to accomplish own work. Good understanding of how work of own team integrates with HR CoE teams and contributes to the area
  • May have some autonomy to make decisions within a defined framework. Resolves issues in situations that require good knowledge and judgment within established procedures
  • A job at this level requires good interpersonal skills. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships both for blue & white collar employees and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Explains technical information to others


Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Min 5 years of hands-on experience in HR function within a complex international organization
  • Advance level of English
  • Exposure to unionized manufacturing environment and CLA proc
  • High degree of discretion when taking care of confidential information
  • Highly analytical approach with a strong eye for detail
  • Structured working style and focus on delivering results as per agreed timelines and scope
