Human Resources Manager

We are looking for a high calibre “Human Resources Manager“ to join us at our Seating facility in Gölcük/ Kocaeli.

  • Several years of HR management experience, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Completed University education, could be economic, law or pedagogy direction or comparable education.
  • Demonstrating considerable knowledge in human resource administration and in managing staff;
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures;
  • Analyzing human resources management problems and developing alternatives and recommendations;
  • Intensive knowledge in all areas of Human Resources work and instruments such as recruitment, personnel development, disciplinary procedures, labour law, labour related regulations, administration and payroll and HR planning and controlling and Union Relations.

İŞ TANIMI

Reporting to the General Manager and will be responsible for;
  • To design and implement policies and procedures for the whole organisation to encourage fair treatment at work and to ensure people are informed and trained in these policies.
  • To establish appropriate payment and reward systems for all employees in order to contribute to the organisations strategic plan and to lead negotiations about such systems within collective bargaining framework.
  • To encourage equal opportunities throughout the organisation and monitor the effectiveness of achieving such.
  • To plan training and development opportunities for the whole organisation and ensure such is evaluated against business outcomes.
  • To design policies and procedures for fair recruitment and selection in order to contribute to the corporate strategy.
  • To undertake supply and demand forecasts and monitor KPIs in relation to response analysis, recruitment etc.
  • To keep abreast of new trends & developments legislation and provide advice to Senior and line managers. Where applicable support this with training/workshops. Work with other managers to ensure compliance with such as written statements of terms and conditions etc.
  • Ensure Disciplinary Procedure complies with legislative requirements and provide advise and guidance an such matters to Operations Management. To assist with decisions at the appropriate level.
  • To ensure appropriate system, either in-house or external consultants, for employee counselling. May be involved in counselling employees with problems or may have to refer for specialist service. Ensure provision of counselling skills training for line managers.
  • With Operations Management Team to be involved in design and implementation of the organisations Health and Safety Policy in order to contribute to strategic plan. Monitor the effectiveness of this. Track and publish KPI’s. Has responsibility for Safety Officer and Occupational Health Adviser. Encourages the involvement of others in the organisation.
  • To act as a catalyst to change by challenging the status quo with a view to improving performance in terms of: cost, efficiency, quality, health and safety and organisational structure.
  • To support the General Manager and act as a ‘sounding board’ with regard to organisational development & change.
  • Involved in design & implementation of strategies to improve labour flexibility. Developing concepts and practices which give rise to transferable skills and flexibility to maintain a balance between work and leisure. Incorporate and support with flexible contracts e.g. flexitime/annualised hours where this is appropriate and aimed at reducing demarcation, reduced labour cost, improving job satisfaction & motivation.
  • To drive effective Human Resources Management through line management.
  • Ensure that payroll calculation and payroll are prepared correctly and on time.
  • Ensure that legal proclamations are made correctly and on time.
  • To support the ISO 14001 Environmental Management System/IATF 19449 system.
  • To prepare budget with reference to all HR functions
  • Review monthly closing process and randomly audit work flow to assure that accounting transactions are performed properly.
