Import & Export Operations Coordinator

General Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering /International Business / Foreign Trade or other related fields of the universities
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in Supply Chain, Import / Export and Foreign trade field in Chemical / FMCG / Pharma companies
  • Having a good level of End to End Supply Chain mindset, result and solution oriented, self-drive and good at teamwork
  • Fluency in English
  • Highly motivated, strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills

Job Description

  • Be the central link between the customers, suppliers, internal and external technical operational teams and to ensure domestic and export customers needs
  • Execution of import and export operations efficiently, organize customs, transportation processes and arranging the documents (Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, AWB etc) required during the processes and coordination with the logistics and finance departments
  • Purchase order management: Intercompany and 3rd party Purchase order entry in SAP, proactively monitor and follow up both Intercompany and 3rd party pending orders inform related parties regularly. If there are changes about arrivals, make updates in the system.
  • Manage foreign trade activities as requested in coordination with custom offices / suppliers / logistics / operation teams and keep all related parties aware about the operation details, deadlines, etc.
  • Coordination with suppliers in order to follow up the related transactions and providing import documents. Conducting and tracking all import and export operations in coordination with internal and external business partners.
  • Controlling order invoices and forwarding to financial department in timely manner
  • Manage import materials cost budget and deal with the price negotiation and contracts with suppliers
  • Ensuring customs clearance activities are carried out in accordance with foreign trade regulations
  • Manage the application to MoH (Ministry of Health) and MoA (Ministry ofAgriculture) for import and export products
  • Check mandatory import documents invoice, A.TR, CoO, BL and subsequent debits.
  • Developing supply chain data analytics tools, KPI reports and other management reports
