Your role at Samsonite:
- Lead and improve the day-to-day operations of the shipment clearance and transportation by maintaining the stock accuracy and on time delivery
- Coordinate all our international shipments with the approved transportation companies in the aim of meeting the confirmed delivery dates of all purchase orders
- Plan and manage the execution of all international transactions, prepare and control necessary documentation
- Assure that all procedures and practices within clearance meet all the legal requirements and codes
- Implement established logistics and operations policies, procedures, and practices to meet requirements supporting short and long-term business needs
- Help the company to implement operational solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a delivery and communicating it clearly to all stakeholders, facilitators and partners
- Provide suggestions to reduce shipping and related transportation costs and improve overseas on-time delivery performance
- Handle directly country key accounts linked to the portfolio and ensure their development and commercial follow up
- Collect and analyse existing customers' needs
- Develop new commercial opportunities by conducting new projects, new proposals and new solutions with customers portfolio
We're excited if you have:
University degree
At least 5 years of experience in related area
Good written and verbal communication skills in English
Good at MS office applications (especially Excel) and SAP ( preferred)
Driven by results
Negotiation skills
Customer oriented
