Following up stock levels of each product; taking actions to ensure optimum stock levels. Ensuring optimum stock level and stock mix at warehouses
Preparing monthly sales forecasts and maintains weekly operation forecasts. Keeping the forecasts up to date on the system. Using Continental formats and methods for forecasting
Developing new methods and techniques in constant communication with the product manager and sales department in order to improve the demand forecasting process and increase forecast accuracy.
Suggesting the necessary action plans for minimizing the slow movers stocks
Following up the ratio of confirmed demand forecast in the system to meet the total demand forecast and take necessary actions to improve it
Controlling whether the tires are stocked in the warehouses under defined conditions, and organizing monthly performance meetings with the warehouse teams.
Following the terms of the contracts, whether the warehouses & distribution services comply with the contract conditions of the service providers
Organizing warehouse & distribution tenders with the central logistics and purchasing departments.
Organizing the year-end counts in Continental Turkeys’ warehouses and evaluates the counting results with the auditors and accounting department.
Qualifications:
Academic degree in Industrial Engineering or comparable qualification
Preferably system knowledge (SAP and score)
Proficient in MS Office programs (Excel-expert)
Good at working with big & complex data
Business fluent English language skills (written and spoken
